WHERE TO TAKE YOUR DOG - LEWES - Dogs are technically not allowed off leash at the Lewes City Beach....so if your dog likes to fetch balls from the surf like mine - go before 8 AM or after 6 and then walk down towards the ferry as far as you can go. There are usually no people around (unless they have dogs). Only let your dog off leash if you can get them to come back on command when you see a sunbather approaching the area...
WHERE TO TAKE YOUR DOG - LEWES - Enter Hawkseye Neighborhood off of Gills Neck Road. Take a right at the circle and then a left - park somewhere near the trail. On a slow weekend morning you can romp around the vacant fields and lots near the trail. But you didn't hear that from me...
