The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics
The Torch Run begins 7:45pm, Wednesday, June 11th at the base of Rehoboth Ave. and the Boardwalk where the Flame of Hope will be delivered by Police Motorcycles followed by a gala send-off featuring the police band - First State Force. The first mile of the Run is dedicated in memory of Cpl Chris Shea, DSP. The flame will travel 5 miles north to Delaware State Police Troop 7 where it will reside for the evening.
